What is CBD?

What is CBD In Its Basic Form?

Cannabidiol (CBD or CBD oil) is part of the chemical compounds found in “cannabinoids” that naturally occur in cannabis plants, it’s a non-psychotropic chemical compound that occurs naturally in cannabis. The SOLO CBD products are made from industrial hemp which contains almost no tetrahydrocannabinol (TCH) which is a psychoactive chemical compound. This means the higher the amount of TCH the more likely you are to experience the effects of getting high, which is illegal while CBD does not contain any psychoactive properties.

So just to be super clear  hemp, cannabis and marijuana are all different. Cannabis is a family of plants with two primary classifications  (1) Indica and (2) Sativa. Marijuana can be considered a member of either the Indica or Sativa families, Hemp is a member of the Cannabis Sativa family. Because Hemp and Marijuana both derive from the cannabis sativa family, they do share some similarities, due to each plant’s biological structure, they have several very distinct and crucial differences.

If you require our lab reports we can provide them to you which demonstrates the ratio between CBD to THC.

Cannabidiol (CBD) has been used for a number of different reasons, including but not limited to those who suffer from joint pains, epilepsy, insomnia, chronic pain and in some cases cancer. There is no evidence that can say yes or no towards it’s natural healing properties but after our customers have used the SOLO CBD product they can wholeheartedly say they have experienced a magical relief that only CBD can bring to them, that is enough for us to know that CBD can work and has the power to help those in pain.

The SOLO team strongly believe in living life to the fullest through leading an active lifestyle and taking full advantage in anything natural that will help us in achieving it. CBD is one such plant form, with its unique antioxidising and anti-inflammatory properties, that work with your body not against it.

Sweden has already accepted CBD as a medical product that can be used. Cannabidiol extracts are currently widely subject to medicines legislation as interpreted by Sweden’s Medical Products Agency.
